Is an employer allow to keep your training certification?
I was trained in CPR and I paid half of the training.
My boss refuses to give me the certificate. She kept it so that I can’t use it for the next job.
Her argument is that because she paid half of the training, she can keep the certification.
Is it even legal to do that? I was the one who was trained and I paid half of the training myself.
Apparently they are. If they paid for them, the place where you get certified won’t even give you one, unless your employer tell them to give it to you.
